We have a major shakeup in the NFL Draft.
The Chicago Bears have traded the No. 1 overall pick to the Carolina Panthers.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Panthers gave up the No. 9 overall pick, the No. 61 overall pick, a first-round pick in 2024, a second-round pick in 2025, and wide receiver DJ Moore to move up to the No. 1 pick for April. Carolina is one of several teams in the top 10 of the draft that is desperate for a quarterback. Bryce Young could give the Panthers what it needs, but will the organization bring the California native to the NFC South? The first domino has fallen as Young has his pro day on March 23.
Compensation update, per sources: Bears trading No. 1 overall pick to Carolina for:

🏈pick No. 61

If the Panthers select Young, it would have the most talented quarterback in the division.
