Calvin Ridley is serious about showing the National Football League he is one of the best receivers.

He wants to prove the Jacksonville Jaguars right for giving him an opportunity after the league reinstated him following his suspension. Ridley, in his passionate open letter to The Players Tribune, said he’s better than ever now. He vowed to give Jacksonville a 1,400-yard receiver every season. The South Florida native is home after four years with the Atlanta Falcons.

Ridley, a former first-round pick, is training with the Per4orm team. Per4orm, an athletic training facility in South Florida, works with Ridley’s former college teammate, Tua Tagovailoa. As a former five-star in the Crimson Tide’s 2015 recruiting class, Ridley is in great shape. He’s performing speed drills, agility drills, route concepts, and weight training with Per4orm. Ridley posted several photos of himself looking ripped, and his former Tide teammate — Reggie Ragland — is excited to watch him dominate.

It is going to be fun watching Ridley back in action in the fall.
