Earlier this afternoon, the Philadelphia Eagles signed former Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal to their practice squad, per NFL insider Ari Meirov.

Neal played a critical role on the Crimson Tide’s offensive line for three seasons from 2019-2021. The once promising lineman won a National Championship at Alabama in 2020 and was the 7th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, but Neal has failed to pan out on the professional level despite being a top prospect upon his entry into the league.

Neal was spotted wearing number 79 at Eagles’ practice today, and the big man now finds himself back in the NFC East after he was released by the New York Giants in August.
