Tua Tagovailoa’s future with the Miami Dolphins for 2024 is secured.
The organization officially exercised the fifth-year option on Tagovailoa’s rookie contract. Miami announced the news Monday, continuing its faith in its former first-round quarterback to be healthy. Tagovailoa suffered multiple concussions in 2022, but he produced huge numbers when healthy. The native Hawaiian totaled 3,548 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns. His connections with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle grew, and Mike McDaniel unlocked his confidence as an NFL signal-caller.
