The Miami Dolphins officially picked up the fifth-year option for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on Monday, ensuring he will be with the franchise through the 2024 season.
Tagovailoa had the most successful season of his career in 2022 passing for 3,548 yards and 25 touchdowns despite battling injuries.
Along with the thousands of fans happy to see Tagovailoa remain with the team is also star wide receiver Tyreek Hill who shared his excitement on social media.

After joining the Dolphins in a blockbuster offseason trade, Hill was an immediate difference maker in Miami catching 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. Hill will now hope to take the next step with Tagovailoa in the coming years.
