Does Alabama football have one of the best offensive coordinators for this fall?

We will see how Tommy Rees provides balance and explosiveness for the Crimson Tide.

Tide fans want to have physicality in the running game and score points. Rees did both at Notre Dame with little talent, but now he has four and five stars everywhere in Tuscaloosa (Ala.) to collaborate with. Pro Football Focus sees the 30-year-old as one of the top-10 offensive play-callers in college football. He is pegged at No. 10 behind names such as Jeff Grimes (Baylor), Jeff Lebby (Oklahoma), Ryan Grubb (Washington), and Garrett Riley (Clemson). Nick Saban wanted Grubb, but he chose to remain with the Huskies. Rees, a former Notre Dame quarterback, looks to unlock either Jalen Milroe or Ty Simpson.

Alabama looks forward to seeing what he does with the offense in spring practice and in the fall.

If Rees can have this group playing dynamic football, the Tide should return to national champions.
