Jordan Ross has a busy month ahead of him with six visits scheduled for this month.
Ross is a junior at Vestavia Hills High School in Alabama. He is rated as a five-star recruit or considered to be one of the top edge defenders in the country by multiple recruiting sites. He will begin his busy month on the road Saturday.
“I am going to LSU on April 1st,” Ross told Touchdown Alabama. “Florida on April 6th, Auburn on April 8th, Tennessee on April 15th, Alabama on April 22nd. I should be going to Oregon on the 29th.”
Alabama is one of the newer teams in Ross’ recruitment. The Crimson Tide’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach and its outside linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler have remained in heavy contact with Ross since the Tide blew him away during his latest trip to Tuscaloosa. Ross admits he is still trying to figure out how interested the Tide are in him, and Alabama’s coaching staff is urging him to visit some more to get a feel for the program.
“I think they stand pretty good now,” Ross said after visiting Alabama in March. “They say I have a good opportunity there, and I like to hear that.”

Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn continue to be other programs that stand out to Ross. The Vestavia product has spoken glowingly of the Bulldogs in the past, and their staff continues to make him feel wanted.
“They have been telling me its good to be there and they can develop me as a player and person,” said Ross.
Ross is listed at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds. He is a long and athletic prospect who thrives when he is asked to play in space. He also possesses impressive backside pursuit.
