Alabama’s new inside linebackers coach has hit the ground running.

On Monday, Robert Bala had his position work through form tackling drills. He is trying to return the Crimson Tide’s inside linebacker room to playing dominant and physical. Bala has 15 years of experience coaching linebackers, cornerbacks, and safeties at smaller programs, but Nick Saban hired him for his teaching acumen, energy, and recruiting prowess.

He assisted Liberty’s defense to be one of the best in college football in 2022 as an analyst.

Lord knows we’ve seen them get blocked or run around blocks waaaay too much recently.
Would be nice if physicality is the next wave in the LB room.
