Alabama football’s offensive line showing belief in new coach
Alabama fans have witnessed national championships from Paul W. “Bear” Bryant, Eugene Stallings, and Nick Saban. Most did not see Wallace Wade capture three national titles (1925, 1926, and 1930) or Frank Thomas earn two national titles (1934, 1941), but it did happen.
Kalen DeBoer is thought to be someone that will continue the championship legacy.
He is 20-8 in his first two seasons, but Crimson Tide supporters are not all in on DeBoer.
Greg Byrne and UA’s Board of Trustees compensation committee extended him for seven years worth $87.5 million. DeBoer needs to cash in on this good faith with a College Football Playoff National Championship, yet he needs his staff to excel too. Tide fans took to social media recently to rank the coaches on Alabama’s staff they feel are under the most pressure to perform in the fall.
Adrian Klemm: OL Coach = 44 votes
O-Line definitely! We gotta block better this season!

Oline. They better get their shit together.

Got to be Oline. They changed coaches, changed the majority of the line too. If the Oline doesn’t show improvement throughout the season, this team will maybe make it to the playoffs, but will not last long.

Grubb for my money. I have not been impressed with his play calling.

Robert Gillespie: RB Coach = 15 votes
Not under the most pressure but Robert Gillespie has to churn one of these guys out to rush for at a least 1,000 yards eventually. Great recruiter and did us a favor by staying but I hope one of these guys hits.

Freddie Roach! Dline can’t get off of blocks and play too high.

Freddie Roach sucks and should have been fired already.

Kalen DeBoer: Head Coach = 11 votes
How about we just go with DeBoer. He’s one more lack of playing to the Bama standard year away from being on a “we’ll see if he makes it to the end of the season” status for me.
— Brett Myers (@bamafan7) May 9, 2026
You better start with the head coach. 3-4 losses a year is unacceptable to Bama Nation!
— BenJamming (@BenKimsey) May 10, 2026
“The” coach.
“The” man.
If the head coach can’t put it together then we’re screwed.
