Todd McShay has 2 Alabama players going in first round in latest mock draft

Alabama football has two former players being selected in the first round of the NFL Draft in his latest mock draft.

McShay has the Carolina Panthers selecting C.J. Stroud in the first round of the NFL Draft. Bryce Young is going to the Houston Texans with the second overall pick and is followed by Anthony Richardson to the Colts. Will Anderson is listed as the No. 4 overall pick by the Cardinals with McShay expecting the Colts and Cardinals to perform a trade and switch positions in the draft.

Jahmyr Gibbs was listed at No. 34 to the Arizona Cardinals. Brian Branch, who was listed as a first-round pick in previous mock drafts by McShay, has dropped out of the first round in McShay’s mock draft 4.0 to the second round, going No. 43 to the New York Jets.

The NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 27.
