In three seasons, he has gone from being doubted to his jersey getting debuted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Jalen Hurts was a candidate for Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year in the National Football League for 2022.
He carried the Philadelphia Eagles to Super Bowl LVII after posting 3,701 passing yards and 35 total touchdowns.
Hurts recorded 304 yards passing, 70 yards rushing, and four touchdowns against the Kansas City Chiefs. He outplayed Patrick Mahomes, despite a 35-38 loss, and is looking forward to a new contract. The native Texan became the first quarterback in NFL history to collect 10+ rushing touchdowns in consecutive seasons. Hurts had 10 rushing scores in 2021 and 13 last season.
His 10th rushing score of last season came in Philadelphia’s 48-22 victory over the New York Giants.
Hurts’ jersey from that matchup is now in the Hall of Fame.
