Branch performed well at the NFL Combine back in February and Alabama’s Pro Day in late March. He recorded a 10’5″ broad jump at the combine and a 37.5” vertical at Pro Day, which has helped him cement the first-round projection that many draft analysts have given him.
Brian Branch had a 10’5” broad jump at the NFL Combine. Now couples it with a 37.5” vertical at his pro day.
Easily makes up for the lack of long speed with his closing burst and explosiveness. https://t.co/i1CJHpbMRC

If selected in the first round in April, Branch would be the eighth defensive back since Nick Saban has taken over at Alabama to go within the first 32 picks, and only the third safety joining Mark Barron, Ha Ha Clinton- Dix, and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
