The numbers came out Monday morning from NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, negotiated Hurts a deal for the Eagles that is five years and worth $255 million. Hurts becomes the highest-paid player in NFL history. His deal also includes $179.304 million in guarantees and a no-trade clause. Hurts took the Eagles to the Super Bowl in 2022 and outplayed Patrick Mahomes, despite a loss to the Chiefs. He totaled 3,701 passing yards and 35 total touchdowns in the regular season. Hurts became one of the most exciting young quarterbacks to watch last season, and he will continue to grow.
