Alabama offer would mean ‘everything’ to In-state edge-rusher Grayshaun Swain

Grayshun Swain has an offer list, which includes some of the nation’s top programs, but an offer from Alabama would be special to him.

“It would mean everything,” Swain said. “Alabama is one of the top programs in the nation.”

Swain is a sophomore and a member of the state of Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class. He holds 11 D1 offers, including offers from Auburn, Florida State and Penn State. He currently does not have a star rating from most recruiting sites.

Alabama has not offered Swain yet, but the Crimson Tide have shown an interest in him. He has visited UA several times since jumping on the recruiting scene, including camping at Alabama last summer. His latest visit to Tuscaloosa allowed him to get another look at the Alabama football program and watch its second spring scrimmage, describing it as ‘very fast.’

“I toured the facilities, went to the scrimmage and talked the coaches,” Swain told Touchdown Alabama.

The Anniston Bulldogs benefited from Swain’s 18 sacks during the 2022 football season. The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder has the length college coaches are looking for when scouting edge-rushing prospects as a sophomore.
