London Merritt visited Alabama football for A-Day Saturday, which marked his second visit to Alabama since earning an offer from the Crimson Tide in January.
Merritt is a 2025 four-star recruit out of Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds 37 division one offers, including offers from LSU, USC and Ole Miss.
The sophomore was among the loaded group of recruits on the campus of the University of Alabama over the weekend.

“It was dope,” Merritt said when discussing his A-Day visit. “I had a great time there.”
The four-star recruit described the Alabama program as ‘GOAT Status’ after his latest visit, which included a ‘great’ conversation with Nick Saban.
“Coach was cool, real and chill as always,” Merritt said. “We talked about getting ready for the spring, and he would be coming to catch one of my spring practices.”
Merritt is listed at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds. He is one of the most explosive defensive linemen prospects in the country with an explosively quick get-off. The Georgia product appeared to live in the opponent’s backfields as made several plays behind the line of scrimmage.
