When he first announced his intentions to transfer to Alabama, former Maryland tight end CJ Dippre was guaranteed an opportunity to compete for a starting job in a room in a bit of a rebuild.
But now with spring football complete, Nick Saban has shared his pleasure with how the tight end group developed and a big part of that is the addition of Dippre. During A-Day, Dippre primarily worked with the first-team offense as he recorded one reception for six yards.
Despite a bit of a light day on the passing end, Dippre has been more than pleased with his time at Alabama so far as he expressed on social media that it has been the best decision of his career.
