Hampton is a four-star recruit out of Texas. He is now down to Alabama and Texas ahead of taking official visits to both programs in June. The Longhorns will get him on campus on the weekend of June 16, and he will be in Tuscaloosa on the following weekend for an official visit.
Hampton has flashed on both sides of the football with his speed and effort at 5-foot-10 and approximately 175 pounds. He was an exciting playmaker to watch at wide receiver as a junior, pulling in 55 receptions for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns.
