When speaking with many former Alabama players it’s easy to tell the impact Nick Saban has left on them.
Saban’s touch was just as obvious during the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft when his quarterback Bryce Young was picked first overall by the Carolina Panthers.
Young has always been praised for his demeanor on and off the field and proved it once again during his media availability following the pick where he brought out a few Saban quotes.
"Be where my feet are."
"Trust the process."

“I try to be where my feet are,” Young said when asked when he knew he was destined for the NFL. “I try to focus on the process and not the end goal.”
The process has been famously coined by Saban as the mantra of the Alabama program while also preaching to his players “be where their feet are” and not get caught up with any future outcomes.
It’s sound advice Young will carry on into the NFL.
