He received an honor at the University of Alabama for being a two-time team captain, but Will Anderson’s hometown is presenting him his flowers.

Anderson became a five-star success at Dutchtown High School in Henry County, Ga. His dominant playing style allowed him to be a force in the Southeastern Conference for three years with the Crimson Tide. Anderson got selected at No. 3 overall in the NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. He is excited to work under DeMeco Ryans, but his hometown honored him with a plaque — naming Monday “Will Anderson Jr. Day.” He shared the news on his Instagram as Anderson is truly thankful.

He earned a lot of accolades at Alabama, but getting recognized by his hometown is something he will forever cherish.
