Nick Saban has revived many coaching careers, but Lane Kiffin is the most appreciative.
As controversial as he can be, Alabama fans have become open to wanting Kiffin to be the head coach of Crimson Tide football when Saban retires. Saban gave Kiffin another opportunity when no one else would, hiring him to be Alabama’s offensive coordinator from 2014 to 2016. Kiffin gave the Tide a new identity on offense, helping it to a 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship, three Southeastern Conference titles, and a Heisman Memorial Trophy winner (Derrick Henry).

Kiffin will crack jokes on Saban from time to time, but he highly respects him. He values Saban so much that it ‘pisses him off’ when anyone other than him jokes about Saban. Kiffin explained it on College Sports via SiriusXM Radio.
Lane Kiffin loves to poke fun at Nick Saban on Twitter, but don’t get it twisted — he has a tremendous amount of respect for the Alabama Head Coach.
