Kool-Aid McKinstry crafting his footwork to be a top pick for 2024

Alabama did not have a defensive back taken in the first round of the recent NFL Draft.

Ga’Quincy “Kool-Aid” McKinstry has an opportunity to be a first-rounder for 2024. He returns for his junior season as a former five-star cornerback from Birmingham, Ala. McKinstry improved his performance between his freshman to sophomore years, totaling a team-high 15 pass breakups and an interception in 2022. He also showcased his ability as a punt return specialist.

McKinstry looks to craft his footwork to become a top 10 draft selection.

He is working with Gold Feet Certified, a training facility in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The elite playmaker from the 2021 recruiting class is training with someone that’s put several players in the National Football League.

McKinstry is back as one of the biggest leaders o Alabama’s team.
