After missing out on the milestone in 2022, Alabama softball has returned to the Women’s College World Series for the 14th time under Coach Patrick Murphy.
The Crimson Tide defeated Northwestern in the Super Regional to advance.

Tyrone Prothro was one of the most explosive playmakers in school history. A compound leg injury in 2005 halted his career, but Alabama fans remember the special plays he made on the field.
Prothro praised Tide softball on social media for making the WCWS.
