Saban has not been shy about discussing his feelings about NIL and its impact on college football. The Alabama head coach was asked Tuesday if players should be made employees, and he stated he does not see it as a problem.

“I have no problem with that,” Saban said. “I mean, unionize it. Make it like the NFL. If it’s going to be the same for everyone, I think that’s better than what we have now. Because what we have now is some states and some schools in some states, that are investing a lot more money.”
