The Lions faithful have been long awaiting for 2022 first-round pick Jameson Williams to be unleashed. After missing 11 games last season recovering from injury, Williams was handed a six-game suspension from the NFL for placing bets back in April.
Despite the fact he’ll be missing the start of the season once again, Williams’ teammates are still showing the speedy receiver support at practice.

Safety Kerby Joseph answered questions from the media during the team’s OTAs while wearing a shirt saying “Free Jamo.”

Although he did not comment on whether the suspension was fair or not, he did explain why he decided to wear the shirt.
“The shirt really just says, I’m glad Jamo is still out here working with us,” Joseph said. “He knows what he did, but he’s trying to get better. And he wants to get better. We want to get better. We’re gonna grow from it, and we’re gonna learn from it. This is just supporting my guy, my dog Jamo, man. That’s all it is.”
Despite being suspended Williams is still eligible to practice with the team.
