VanDorselaer is a 2025 four-star tight end out of Southlake Carroll High School in Texas. He holds more than 25 offers with multiple Texas programs already involved in his recruitment
The Texas product’s offer came from Alabama’s wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins and the Crimson Tide’s tight end coach, Joe Cox.

“I found out about my offer over the phone when coach Wiggins and coach Cox called,“ VanDorselaer said. “My initial feeling was wow, and I was really excited. Alabama is the standard and sets the bar high, so having an opportunity to play there is really special. They have a very strong legacy and that they are a tough hardworking program that wins.“
At 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, VanDorselaer is a big-body tight end, who can put his hand in the dirt and get after it when called upon to block. He shows promise as a receiving tight end with his strength and ability to make contested catches.
