Mac Jones has an emphatic message for third season with Patriots

He did not have the sophomore season he wanted with the New England Patriots, but Mac Jones remains confident.

As a University of Alabama alumnus, Jones enters his third year with a new offensive coordinator. He excelled under Josh McDaniels as a rookie, but the combination of Matt Patricia and Joe Judge was frustrating in 2022. Jones has Bill O’Brien calling the plays and is feeling comfortable with him. His feisty leadership propelled the Crimson Tide to an undefeated College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020; however, Jones wants to make the Patriots a Super Bowl contender again.

He sent an emphatic message to Patriots’ reporters, and it made it to social media. Jones is about having everyone’s respect in the locker room as he did in 2021. He is on a mission to gain it back, and it starts with his leadership and production on the field.

Alabama fans are looking forward to watching the marriage of O’Brien and Jones work well.
