Mac Jones is handling business as the Patriots’ starting quarterback this offseason, but there is ‘growing optimism’ that New England could have him a No. 1 wide receiver.
DeAndre Hopkins, a free agent, arrived in New England on Wednesday and is still there.

Mark Daniels, who covers the Patriots for Massachusetts Live, reports the visit has been well on both sides. Hopkins posted a photo to Instagram of him and Matthew Judon, Patriots’ defensive end.
Jones stated during a practice that he would love to have Hopkins on the team.
