If Alabama’s secondary plays a monster role in the team winning a national championship, Justin Woodall was a crucial factor.

The former Crimson Tide safety trained several Alabama defensive backs in the offseason. He’s had his hands on Kool-Aid McKinstry, Malachi Moore, Terrion Arnold, Kristian Story, Jalen Key, and Caleb Downs. Woodall got work in with Moore, Downs, and Key over the weekend. Alabama’s secondary has a chance to be one of the best defensive groups in the sport.

Moore, McKinstry, and Arnold have game experience. Story knows the system as a former four-star while Key comes in with experience from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Downs, a five-star freshman, brings a lot of talent to the room.
