Ellis Robinson confirmed he was taking an official visit to the University of Alabama this weekend via Twitter.
Robinson is a 2024 five-star defensive back out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He is currently verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
The five-star has been getting recruited by Alabama since earning in offer in November of 2021. He has spoken highly of Alabama in the past, and he has a connection with current and future Alabama players.
“I had a chance to talk with Caleb Downs and Jaylen Mbakwe,” Robinson said after a previous Alabama visit. “They just wanted me to know why Alabama is the place to be. I also got to spend time with my boy, Tyler Booker. I am learning it takes a special player to go to Bama. It’s a culture there that’s different than any other school I’ve been to.”

Robinson has shown an ability to be an all-around defensive back. He excels in press coverage and has pulled in several 50/50 balls for interceptions with his impressive ball skills. The five-star recruit has also shown he is capable of coming downhill to help in run support.
