A former University of Alabama wide receiver shared his Christian faith in a significant way.

Tyrell Shavers, a former four-star in the Crimson Tide’s 2017 class, shared a video of him getting baptized on social media.

Shavers, a native Texan, played three years for the Crimson Tide — including its 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship season. The 6-foot-6, 210-pounder transferred to Mississippi State and San Diego State, becoming an impactful player for the Aztecs. He now has an opportunity to shine in the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills.
