Alabama updates football roster with 2023 summer enrollees

The football media days for the Southeastern Conference are in Nashville (Tenn.) this week.

Reporters have been provided media guides for each school. Alabama brought in 27 student-athletes in its 2023 recruiting class and most enrolled early for spring practice. The Crimson Tide updated its roster with the summer enrollees. Richard Young, Keon Keeley, Yhonzae Pierre, Trey Amos, Jaylen Key, Tyler Buchner, and Connor Talty have been added to the roster. Young, Keeley, and Pierre are five-star freshmen while Amos, Key, and Buchner are transfers. Talty is a three-star freshman kicker/punter.

The numbers for each player are below.

Numbers for Alabama’s summer enrollees

-Richard Young: RB, No. 25 (5-11/200)

-Keon Keeley: LB, No. 31 (6-5/242)

-Yhonzae Pierre: LB, No. 42 (6-3/223)

-Trey Amos: DB, No. 23 (6-1/197)

-Jaylen Key: DB, No. 22 (6-2/210)

-Tyler Buchner: QB, No. 8 (6-1/215)

-Connor Talty: K/P, No. 31 (6-1/195)
