Bryce Young has looked impressive in training camp and continues to amaze fans. He’s connected with Jonathan Mingo (rookie wide receiver), D.J. Chark, and Adam Thielen in practices. Young, the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, has been able to avoid pressure and make timely plays. He has recorded only one reported interception at camp, and it came off a tipped pass that landed in the hands of cornerback C.J. Henderson. The California native has been everything advertised, aside from the error.

He was a special playmaker in two years as a starter for the University of Alabama. Young became the first quarterback in Crimson Tide to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy, capturing the honor during his sophomore season in 2021.

He posted a single-season school record of 4,872 passing yards and 47 passing touchdowns. Young finished his career ranked second all time for passing yards (8,356) and touchdown passes (80). He is now in a division in the National Football League that is up for the taking. The front office for Carolina hopes that Young is the one that can make the program a champion.
