Josh Jacobs was the twelfth Alabama football alum on the NFL’s Top 100 players of 2023, but Minkah Fitzpatrick proceeded him as the eleventh name.
Fitzpatrick, a two-time College Football Playoff National Champion in 2015 and 2017, entered the list voted on by his peers at No. 18 to represent the Pittsburgh Steelers. A former five-star in the 2015 recruiting class for the Crimson Tide, Fitzpatrick has been a defensive leader for the Steelers since getting traded to them from Miami on Sept. 16, 2019. The New Jersey native has played in 47 career games for Pittsburgh, recording 299 tackles, 12 interceptions (29 passes defended), and two touchdowns.
