Nick Saban puts the ball in the court of Alabama’s quarterbacks room.
The Crimson Tide’s head football coach had one critical message Tuesday for the quarterbacks. Saban does not want the group focused one external factors; however, whoever wants to become the starter in the room has one obligation.

“Force me to play you,” Saban said. “Force us to play you. When you get your reps and you get a chance to play, you play so good we don’t have a choice but to play you.”
Saban said it is not up to the coaches, but it is up to the quarterback to be impressive and consistent.

Alabama has three names vying for the starting job. The second scrimmage is Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
