Alabama signed one of the best kickers in the 2023 recruiting class when it picked up a signature from Conor Talty.
Talty officially enrolled at the University of Alabama as a summer enrollee in May.
The Chicago product is getting his first experience going through fall camp, and a few things are standing out about him to the Tide’s starting kicker, Will Reichard.
Reichard discussed Talty on Thursday.
“He’s honestly got a lot of talent,” Reichard said Thursday of the freshman. “Coming in as a summer enrollee, it took him a little bit of time to get adjusted as it does for everybody. I’m excited to teach him things but also let him kind of figure out some things on his own I think is important too. Everybody is going to be different, everybody is going to have their different mannerisms. Everybody is going to want to go about their day and practice differently.”
Talty was perfect on PATs as a senior at St. Rita High School. He also nailed a 51-yard field goal.
Alabama K commit Conor Talty had a big senior season ahead of enrolling at Alabama in the future.
