The Atlanta Falcons took a chance on him, and he is showing out. He recorded an interception in his rookie preseason debut against the Miami Dolphins and returned with another marquee play versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Hellams was in the right spot for a second interception. He is proving the Falcons right for drafting him, and the former four-star is pushing to make the team.

Hellams, a native of Washington, D.C., came in Alabama’s 2019 signing class. He played on two Southeastern Conference Championship teams (2020, 2021) and a College Football Playoff National Championship team in 2020.
