Could the Las Vegas Raiders be getting the National Football League’s rushing champion back?
Josh Jacobs, a former Alabama running back, did not sign the franchise tender tag deal for the Raiders. He would have made a little over $10 million on the tag, but he believes his value is more. Las Vegas did not pick up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract, and the Tulsa (Okla.) native gambled on himself. He became the heart of the Raiders’ offense, totaling 1,653 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. Jacobs earned a Pro Bowl selection and first-team All-Pro honors for his efforts in 2022.

Talks have sparked about the potential of Jacobs returning to the Raiders, and Dov Kleiman confirms it. The NFL reporter shared that Jacobs will end his holdout and report to the team before its season opener against the Denver Broncos.
