The Crimson Tide can show the masses it is a program competing to hinder the University of Georgia from three-peating as national champions. Nick Saban highlighted the challenges the Longhorns provide to Alabama during Wednesday’s presser; however, he also mentioned an X-factor that gives the Crimson Tide an advantage. Saban said the Alabama fans will play a significant role under the lights versus Texas. After showing great energy versus MTSU, the fans have a chance to offset Texas.
“I think atmosphere and environment are important in this game,” Saban said.
“Fans, their energy and enthusiasm, can have an impact in a game like this. You impact the opponent’s offense, their ability to check, their ability to communicate, and sometimes to get the snap count right. I think the fans in this game can create not only positive energy for our team but make it more difficult for the other team to operate when they have the ball.”
BDS is one of the great venues in college football. Tide fans get loud and show their passion each week.
