The Crimson Tide suffered a defeat early in the season under Nick Saban for the first time since 2015.

It now has prepared to face South Florida, but the Tide has no room for error moving forward. Alabama made numerous mental errors, had a couple of turnovers, and could not generate pressure on Quinn Ewers. Coach Saban has to fix things quickly with this team before it becomes the third year in a series where the Tide does not win a national championship.
