Key Insight: “Tyler Buchner gets a chance to show he’s the one to be the quarterback moving forward for the Crimson Tide. The former Notre Dame signal caller was accurate with the ball all game long. The offensive line got back and penalties were bad too. Defensively, Alabama whipped up on USF.”

Key Insight: “Alabama football should handle USF based on the different levels of talent on both rosters. But this game is deeper than the Crimson Tide picking up a win. Alabama still has a lot to figure out on both sides of the football. Time will tell if Alabama can establish an offensive identity with Tyler Buchner at QB1. Alabama’s defense also must find a way to create pressure and perform better in the back end in the secondary.”
