The University of Alabama opens its Southeastern Conference football schedule this week against Ole Miss.
Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are 2-1 on the year after a 17-3 victory over South Florida. All of its goals for the season remain alive, despite a week two loss to Texas at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama has some things to clean up on offense and defense, but the players had a meeting to iron stuff out. Coach Saban likes the togetherness of the group, but it needs to have urgency.
