Alabama has its quarterback as Nick Saban named Jalen Milroe as the starter for the Ole Miss game.
The offensive line struggled in the first half against South Florida. It gave up five sacks and five quarterback hurries to the Bulls during inclement weather, despite a 17-3 victory. Kadyn Proctor, a former five-star, did not have his best outing at left tackle as he surrendered a couple of sacks. The Iowa native has the potential to be a special player, but he will have growing pains.

JC Latham, a veteran offensive lineman, encouraged Proctor in Monday’s presser.
He said Proctor has the tools to be an elite tackle.
“He is young,” Latham said about Proctor. “You look at all the greats like Kobe, airballing his first shot. Michael Jordan did not make varsity in high school. Everybody does not have the perfect career or perfect start. People go through their trials and tribulations. Everyone is not the same so you can’t compare what you are going through with somebody else because, at the end of the day, he will turn out to be one of the best tackles in the country. We will look back at this as a learning curve.”
Proctor has an opportunity this week to bounce back versus Ole Miss.
