Woodyard is a four-star defensive back prospect out of St. John Bosco High School in California. He is one of the Crimson Tide’s 20 2024 commits.
The Tide flipped Woodyard from Georgia in August.
At 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, the four-star protects over the top for one of the best high school football programs in the country. He is a physical prospect, whose junior hudl film is filled with him making tackles on ball carriers close to the line of scrimmage as he flows downhill. He is also smooth and fluid when working over the top at safety.
