Andy Dalton started at quarterback for the Carolina Panthers in a 27-37 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but Frank Reich returns his No. 1 overall pick of the NFL Draft under center this week.
Bryce Young, a University of Alabama alumnus, missed the matchup with the Seahawks because of an ankle injury.

He has practiced all week and is ‘good to go,’ according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Young, a Heisman Trophy winner in 2021, won the starting quarterback job for the Panthers in the summer. He has 299 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions through two games. Carolina is 0-3, but returning Young could help the team get on a run. He makes his third career start Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings at home on FOX. Young has an opportunity to take down Kirk Cousins.
