Alabama football’s starting quarterback, Jalen Milroe has shown progress throughout the early season.
Milroe has thrown for 674 yards and six touchdowns through four games. He was named the starting quarterback for Alabama football last week before the Crimson Tide defeated the Ole Miss Rebels.
Nick Saban detailed what the Tide has learned about Jalen Milroe during his weekly interview on the Pat McAfee show.

“We all learned some things by playing other quarterbacks,” Saban said. “We learned what they can do. We can make a good evaluation of what’s the best way for our team to move forward relative to who plays quarterback. Jalen understood that, exactly what we were doing. He responded the right way to it. It was obvious he is the best guy for us to be able to move forward as a team. We have to do things that he can do because he’s a great athlete. He’s a good passer. But we have to do things that he can do in his growth and development, so that he can be successful.”
Milroe will have an opportunity to show more growth against Mississippi State this weekend on the road.
