Alabama could be without its signal caller at linebacker for several weeks.
According to a report from ESPN, linebacker Deontae Lawson (ankle) could be out for multiple weeks for the Crimson Tide.
Lawson suffered an ankle injury during the first half of Alabama’s 24-10 win over Ole Miss last weekend. Stepping in for Lawson was a combination of Jihaad Campbell and Kendrick Blackshire.
Earlier this week as Alabama was preparing for Mississippi State, head coach Nick Saban described Lawson as “very questionable” for the upcoming game against the Bulldogs. Lawson was not able to practice this week, which put his availability into further doubt.
