Alabama earned a 26-20 victory over Texas A&M to control the SEC West, but there was a moment that excited fans but made a veteran linebacker get after one of his teammates. Chris Braswell blocked an Aggies’ field goal attempt and returned it for a touchdown. Dallas Turner made a blindside block in the back of a Texas A&M player, and the touchdown was called back.

Tide fans saw the penalty as uncalled for; however, Deontae Lawson confronted Turner. The redshirt sophomore was visibly frustrated and grabbed Turner on the field. Alabama could have beaten the Aggies by 14 points or more, but penalties hurt the Crimson Tide. In grabbing Turner, Lawson did something that Rolando McClain, C.J. Mosley, Reggie Ragland, and Reuben Foster did in the Nick Saban era. The Tide is starting to round into form, and it is trending toward being a dangerous team.
