Five marquee takeaways from Alabama’s victory over TAMU

Alabama football left Kyle Field last week with a 26-20 comeback victory over Texas A&M.

The Crimson Tide now controls the SEC West at 5-1, but it endured self-inflicted mistakes. Alabama had 14 penalties for a loss of 99 yards, including two mistakes that took touchdowns away. The Tide also lost a fumble and Jalen Milroe tossed an interception.

Aside from the problems, Alabama made enough plays to win the game. Before moving to its homecoming matchup with Arkansas, we dive into five marquee takeaways in the victory for the Crimson Tide over the Aggies.

1. Jalen Milroe can win games with his arm

Jalen Milroe is growing into a complete quarterback in front of our eyes.

The most significant concern people had about him before the Texas A&M game was can he win football games for Alabama with his arm. Milroe responded with a resounding “Yes” against one of the best defenses in college football.
