One of the most consistent players in the Nick Saban era is playing in his final homecoming game for Alabama football.
Will Reichard, a former three-star recruit in the 2019 class, changed the narrative for field goal kickers. Crimson Tide fans would cringe before each field goal before Reichard committed and signed with the Tide. Since his arrival, the fear of missing a kick has become a distant memory for fans. He has been the most automatic specialist in the Saban era since Jeremy Shelley in 2012.

Reichard has been perfect on field goals (12 for 12) and point after touchdown attempts (18 for 18) through six games.
He showed marquee value versus Texas A&M, displaying for NFL scouts his ability to kick and punt. The Hoover (Ala.) native means a lot to the program, helping it to two Southeastern Conference Championships (2020, 2021) and a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020. In a video via Alabama football on Twitter, Reichard paid homage to the University of Alabama and its fans for the opportunity to make his dreams come true. He will take the field Saturday at 11 a.m. versus Arkansas.
