Jonathan Allen, a former All-American, was a decorative defensive lineman for the Crimson Tide and the Southeastern Conference. He helped the Tide’s defense to three straight SEC Championships (2014-16) and a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2015. Allen came to the Crimson Tide as a three-star recruit in 2013, but he blossomed into a first-round draft pick in 2017 by the Washington Redskins. The franchise has been renamed twice since drafting Allen, including the Commanders, but Allen is tired of its losing mentality. He has become the leader of the defense and one of the best sack specialists in the league.
